"Jimmy?" Dean's voice was full of disbelief when he laid eyes on the man in front of him. There wasn't any doubt though, the change in his tone of voice and the way he spoke, his mannerisms. They were all... destinctly human and so familiar from the brief time he'd seen the man.
Well, this probably wasn't a good sign at all. "Where's Cas?"

Calm down. You're okay. Think. If Dean's asking about where the angel is, then he doesn't know either. Still okay. Still free.
"Dean? Dean. Right. Yes, yes. Dean." He shivers, shaking his head and bringing his arms up to grip the upper sleeves of his coat. "D-D-don't know. L-L-Left me...." He has to stop, trying to avoid thinking about Castiel and the water. ".. Have... haven't seen him in a week.... I think."
no subject
"You doing okay? I mean, what have you been doing since you got free?"
Take two.
Even if Castiel was all but glued to his hip, Castiel's not here now and that's the important thing. Even if he does look up and down the highway Dean found him walking down, just to be sure. He does see The Car, though, and that gets another stare before Jimmy tears his gaze away and back to Dean. A hand reaches out and knots itself in Dean's shirt, reminding Jimmy that Dean's here and real and that means everything.
And it's painfully obvious that Jimmy's not doing okay. He's too skinny, and he looks like he hasn't been sleeping all that much.

"Come on, we'll get you taken care of."
no subject
"Sorry... I'm.... not... You... You don't know where... " There's a glance around, like he's double-checking to make sure Castiel's not nearby. "... the angel is... Do you?"
Because if Dean doesn't know where Castiel is, then nobody knows. And that's wonderful.

"Cas?" He frowned, shrugging awkwardly. "Nope. Haven't seen him in awhile. If he's not with you, I got no idea where he'd be."

So Jimmy knows this car better than he knows his own house.
"I have-haven't seen him.... in.. in a week. He... he left.." Dumped, Jimmy. Let's be honest. Dumped you in a ditch and then who knows what. Went chasing a better Vessel? A more stable one? "... left me... in Georgia. Now I'm... Where am I?" He looks back out the window for any sort of road sign in case he missed one in all his walking, before turning back to look at Dean.

And now Dean had no clue what to do with the guy. He needed help, serious help from the looks of it. He had no idea what being tied to an angel for this long could do to someone mentally, especially with all the stuff Cas had put his body through.
"Right now? Oklahoma. I was heading out on a beer run when I saw you wandering around. Probably lucky I had a case bring me around here."

He's not having an episode in front of Dean Winchester in this car. He's not. But there's going to be one in his future, he has a feeling. Probably back at the motel. And he gets to explain that to Dean too. Needing to hide in the bathroom for an hour or so until he calms down.
But for now, it recedes a little. Enough for him to function again. His eyes open again and he gives Dean an 'I'm okay. Really. I am.' smile that doesn't fool anyone. "A case? You and your..."

He has to take another of those moments to try and shove the impending episode away. ".... brother?"

"Yeah, Sammy's at the room. Should be anyway. You sure you're holding up okay?"
no subject
With that being a bit of an understatement. Not many people look for safe places to hide while they're having a massive panic attack. Or are afraid of sunlight on water. "Sorry." He couldn't have told Dean what he was apologizing for, but it seemed appropriate. Maybe it was the mess Dean had saddled himself with. Maybe it was saying 'yes' and enabling Castiel to do... everything.
"I... I might..." He trails off. How do you find a polite way to say 'I'm going to have a meltdown in your cheap motel bathroom and I'll probably be down for an hour at least.' "... need... some time. When we get back to the room." God, that sounded fake and suspicious to his ears, who knows what it sounded like to Dean.
no subject
"Bet you'll feel better when you get cleaned up and we get some food in you."
no subject
"And... I... apologize in.. in advance. I don't sleep well. Nightmares.... I scream, sometimes. Wake people up. Toss and turn..... Maybe... maybe I should sleep in the car." He's slept in worse places, and he doesn't want to wake anyone up with his issues. Better to be up front about this, so Dean doesn't get any unpleasant surprises in the middle of the night, when Jimmy's revisiting his personal house of horrors.

When they got to the motel, he parked in front of the room and killed it. "Come on, let's get you inside."

There's a frantic dash to the edge of the parking lot so Jimmy can throw up.

Sam was just walking out, keys in hand and followed by Dean when they saw Jimmy out of the car. Sam was given the okay to go ahead as Dean approached him. "Whoa, hey..."
Shit, he was sick. "Hey, c'mon, you don't have that much to get rid of..."
no subject
But he finishes, spits a few times, and wipes his mouth on his sleeve again. "... Sorry." But Dean mentioned food. That was hopefully still on the table. And the shower. And not sleeping in the car? Well, he'd see on that one.
no subject
"If you're done, let's get inside. Sam's gone out for food."

"Sam should be back with some food soon too."

He shrugs out of his coat and looks for a place to hang it up before acknowledging that it's filthy and dropping it on the floor in the corner.
"I'll.... I'll be back.. in a bit, then?" He ducks out of sight and Dean can hear shuffling around as Jimmy sets about getting clean.

But dumping him off somewhere didn't exactly seem that smart either.
And where the hell was Cas? In a new vessel, back in Heaven with nothing? Not that he thought Jimmy was going to be offering himself up as a vessel again anytime soon, but Dean couldn't help but worry.

The light's dim, but enough to see by, and it's a lot better than the fluorescent lights. Easier for him to get his head together, eventually.

And swimming in Dean's clothes. The lost weight accentuates it, but that doesn't change the fact that Dean has four inches and thirty or so pounds on Jimmy under healthy circumstances.
"You... You said Sam... was.. was going out for food, right?"
